High Density Racks for AI and HPC Workloads

Ideal Design manufactures AI ready racks in the UAE for integrators deploying GPU servers and HPC clusters across the GCC. Frames are reinforced for dense hardware, doors are punched for high airflow and cable routing is engineered around real power and fiber volumes, with lead times from 3 weeks out of the UAE.

§ 01 · The line

Racks that take AI hardware seriously.

GPU nodes are heavier, deeper and hungrier for airflow than general compute, and the power cabling behind them is a project of its own. We reinforce frames, deepen chassis to 1000 mm and punch doors to approximately 63% open area so dense hardware slides in, breathes and stays serviceable.

Because we manufacture rather than import, the rack adapts to your deployment instead of the other way around: wider cable routes, extra PDU provisions, busbar cutouts and reinforcement exactly where your hardware needs them.

§ 02 · Why local

Why build AI racks in the UAE?

AI deployments in the Gulf move faster than import schedules. When hardware lands before the imported racks do, the project stalls on sheet metal. A UAE factory delivers from 3 weeks out of the UAE and revises drawings in days when node counts change.

High density also punishes generic racks: thin frames flex under load, doors choke airflow and cable managers overflow. Manufacturing locally means the frame gauge, the perforation pattern and the cable routes are engineered to your equipment schedule, not to a catalogue average.

The finish matters more than it sounds. Coated parts pass 1,000+ hours of neutral salt spray testing after RO and DI pretreatment, which protects racks in coastal and edge deployments where humidity and salt work on every seam.

Why Ideal Design

Built different, and provable.

Integrators bring AI deployments to us because the frame is engineered to the actual load, the airflow path is punched in house, and the factory answers in their timezone when the cluster design changes.

01 / STRUCTURE

Built for the weight

Frames are folded from heavier gauge steel and welded in jigs, then checked against your actual equipment schedule, so 1,500 kg of compute sits square year after year.

02 / AIRFLOW

Punched in house

Door perforation is punched on our own lines to approximately 63% open area. When your thermal design needs a different pattern, it is a program change, not a new supplier.

03 / ENVELOPE

A published envelope

We quote against a published capability envelope: sheet sizes, thicknesses and tolerances. See the full manufacturing capabilities we put behind every order.

Proof: an OEM cabinet line built on this floor.

A UAE networking brand runs its own branded cabinet range on our production line: locked tooling, in line branding and batch QC, with delivery from 3 weeks out of the UAE. The same discipline goes into every AI rack.

Buyer questions

Questions buyers ask us

What makes a rack AI ready?

Weight, depth, airflow and cable volume. AI ready means a reinforced frame rated to 1,500 kg static, depths to 1000 mm for long GPU nodes, doors punched to approximately 63% open area and cable routes sized for real power and fiber bundles.

Can you prepare racks for liquid cooling?

We fabricate to your cooling vendor drawings. Cutouts, mounting provisions and reinforcement for rear door heat exchangers and manifold runs are applied at the factory, so cooling hardware bolts straight on at site.

Do you build for deep GPU servers?

Yes. Depths of 1000 mm are standard and custom depths are quoted after drawing approval, so long chassis plus the bend radius of power cabling fit without forcing the door.

What is the lead time for AI racks?

Standard configurations ship from 3 weeks out of the UAE. Custom designs are quoted with their own schedule after drawing approval, and staged deliveries can track your cluster build out.
