Outdoor and IP65 Enclosures Engineered for the GCC Climate

Weatherproof enclosures built in the UAE for the environments that destroy imported cabinets: 48°C summers, humidity and coastal salt. RO and DI pretreatment with 1,000+ hour salt spray performance, made in our ISO 9001 Ajman factory with lead times from 3 weeks out of the UAE.

§ 01 · The problem

Why do standard enclosures fail outdoors in the Gulf?

They fail because the Gulf combines three attack modes at once: heat that cooks gaskets and electronics, humidity that condenses inside every thermal cycle, and airborne salt that eats through thin imported coatings in a couple of seasons. An enclosure specified for a European climate is simply not the same product this region needs.

We design outdoor enclosures from the climate backwards. Shading canopies and double skin construction cut solar gain, filtered louvers and fan trays move air without admitting dust, and the coating system is proven past 1,000 hours in the salt chamber. The result is a cabinet that protects its contents for years, not seasons.

Typical duties include telecom and ELV street cabinets, pump and irrigation controls, gate and barrier controllers, solar plant equipment and roadside instrumentation across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

§ 02 · Finish system

The coating is the product.

Outdoors, an enclosure is only as good as its finish. Every panel passes through multi stage cleaning with RO and DI purified rinses before powder coating and a gas catalytic cure. Coated parts pass 1,000+ hours of neutral salt spray to ISO 9227, tested, recorded and repeatable batch after batch.

Why Ideal Design

Built different, and provable.

Outdoor projects choose us because the corrosion numbers are tested rather than claimed, the thermal design is engineered to the actual heat load, and the whole cabinet ships from the UAE in weeks.

01 / FINISH

1,000+ hour salt spray

Every panel runs through RO and DI pretreatment ahead of powder coating. Coated parts pass 1,000+ hours of neutral salt spray testing to ISO 9227, proven in the chamber, not claimed on a datasheet.

02 / CONTROL

One roof, no handoffs

Design, fiber laser cutting, punching, panel bending, welding, coating and assembly all happen in our own 75,000 sq ft UAE factory. One team owns quality from CAD file to packed crate.

03 / ENVELOPE

A published envelope

We quote against a published capability envelope: sheet sizes, thicknesses and tolerances. See the full manufacturing capabilities we put behind every order.

Proof, not promises

Proven on cabinets that live outside.

The disciplines in our OEM cabinet program, locked tooling, serialized QC and a finish proven past 1,000 hours, are the same ones protecting outdoor fleets across the region.

Buyer questions

Questions buyers ask us

What makes an enclosure suitable for outdoor use in the GCC?

Three things: sealing, thermal design and coating. The enclosure must keep dust and water out (IP65 sealed, or IP55 with filtered ventilation), shed 48°C summer heat through shading, louvers or cooling provision, and carry a finish that survives salt laden coastal air. We engineer all three into every outdoor unit.

How do you prove corrosion resistance?

In a salt spray chamber, not in a brochure. Panels run through RO and DI pretreatment before powder coating, and coated parts pass 1,000+ hours of neutral salt spray testing to ISO 9227. That is roughly double the endurance of a typical imported finish.

Can you provide cooling with the enclosure?

Yes, as provision or as fitted hardware. We build louver and filter packages, fan trays and AC ready cutouts with mounting frames sized to your heat load. Tell us the wattage inside the cabinet and we design the thermal path around it.

Do you build double skin enclosures?

Yes. A double skin with an air gap cuts solar gain on the equipment compartment, which matters for electronics parked in direct Gulf sun. We quote single skin, double skin and canopy options against your site conditions.

Specifying for a site in the Gulf?

Tell us the location, the equipment inside and the heat load. We'll engineer the enclosure around it.
